I like how Ianto is at the heart of things here, but subtly. The UNIT connection is his, the understanding of time paradoxes is his, John clearly holds him highest of the team, but it's almost all unspoken, and definitely unacknowledged by certain parties. You are mistress of understatement.

I like John's urge to run, but his decision to stay. I have a feeling that was formative for him, but again you have a lovely light touch over it.
