Don't worry about it. It is the plotty stories, the ones with intriguing glimpses into other parts of our characters that we really remember. There are really few really good romance stories that have stuck in my mind - in fact I can't think of any that don't also come with lashings of plot.
So you just keep doing what you do. :-)
