The New Doctor
Just saw the BBC interview with Matt Smith. One word of advice to Rusty and all his pals (as if they would listen): Let him integrate his mannerisms and his circuitous way of speaking into the character. It will be both a continuation and a departure from Tennant.

And he is seriously cute when he's speaking. His stills do not do him justice.

i have to agree. luckily RTD is out of the picture and Moffat has always done a good job of reading people before creating a character (remember, he created Capt. Jack).

my only fear is that the guy is so young. that means the companions are going to be really, really young.

the face though; it seems a bit play dough.

I'm not worried about his age per se; he's an experienced actor. And the face is actually a bit alien, with all those cheekbones sticking out, reminds me of Nine. A nice blending of Nine and Ten IF THEY GET IT RIGHT. AS you say, it's all down to how Moffatt and Matt read the character.
