A tad. Work has been a bear lately; we just got through a computer upgrade that I busted my chops to get done,just to have the IT tech thank someone else for all their hard work (this third person had restored some authorizations the tech needed to get into the system, grand total 1o minutes of work); ; the economy is parts of the US is not so good, so that although I am ok, several of my best friends are not, and that's an understatement; and I got an email from some imbecile telling me that if I didn't understand that Ianto was a manipulative little monster that Jack deserves better, yadda, yadda, emotion, bleeding ulcers, and only the doctor would be good enough for Jack, angst, emoting... look, I'm a fan, ok? but these are FICTIONAL characters. Chill. Breathe. If you don't like what I read there are plenty more out there to your taste...

No, no. That's what's got me so... stressed about it. I was e-mailing back and forth with someone who is a casual internet acquaintance and we got to talking about our favorite shows and everything was going dandy and then I mentioned Torchwood and she said she loved it too and I said that the Jack/Ianto relationship was interesting and... boom. Explosionville. Jeezus, was I surprised.

*hugs* I'm so sorry. It just seems so odd. I mean we've all had the conversations about the characters and whether Jack and Nine are equals and Jack/Ianto dynamic (and I love discussions like that - don't do it nearly enough now)but it still is only a cult tv show after all. *another hug*
