*lurker pops in* Why don't you know you're suppose to acccept Ianto and Jack descending into darkness, because they're not that important, and fall in love with Gwen all over again and not NEED Jack and/or Ianto? Who needs Jack and Ianto when you have Gwen?
I still contend that this was just a set up to the all-Gwen Torchwood (which is fine for some fans but not me). I'm not even convinced at this time they'll have Jack/John back.
