Beta Needed

As some of you know I'm doing The Count of Monte Cristo for reel_Torchwood. Turns out I need a beta (yes, I knew that from the beginning, but, hey!). Someone who knows the story and a little bit about the Regency period. The English is not such a problem. Pretty please?

Damn.... I may be a historian, but I know nothing about that story. *pouts*

And with all you have on your plate you're busier than a one-armed paper-hanger with hives anyway!

Are you implying something there, M? Speaking of reel_torchwood... you up for idea bouncing later?

I love the movie and legend so I know the story and I did study the period at School so I could dig out my old notes.
Maybe beth_mccombs and I combined would work since she's a whizz on history and I know the story really well. :)

I could give it a whirl if you so desire. Grammar I'm not the best at, content I can do. I'm familiar with the book (and have seen the movie more times then I care to count). If I can help let me know.

I do know the story, but haven't read it or seen the film recently. I'm good with grammar and Brit picking, probably not bad on Brit picking for that period, but looks like you may have more expert people on here. Anyhow let me know if I can help. I fancy the idea of this story.
