Our instructor took us up to the Piazzale Michelangelo where you can get that view of the city -- I have a whole sequence from sundown to dark. But this is my favorite... there's a lot of strange cloud construction over Florence in the fall...

Thank you! I have a whole sequence of those showing both sides of the river... sandard photo shoot in Florence. I got lucky about the weather that day, rainy during the day which created all the color effects at sunset.

I was 10 or 11 when we went to Florence, but I remember that I liked it very much, especially Ponto Vecchio as a good tourist kid that I was. I have your flickr in my favorites now and will travel with you there. Thanks!
